Orphan Elephant, Assam, India

I met this young elephant while documenting a rehabilitation and release program for orphaned calves in Assam. He had lost his mother in a flood, and over the days I spent photographing him, I found myself unexpectedly attached.

On my final day, as I turned to leave, I looked back and saw him standing on his hind legs, peering out the window toward me. In that brief exchange, his gaze felt deeply sentient — filled with awareness, longing, and something profoundly universal.

It is a moment I have never forgotten.

Selected Global Works

This curated collection brings together photographs made across multiple continents — images that have endured beyond the moment of their making. Rather than documenting a single journey, these works reflect years of returning, observing, and listening across cultures and landscapes.

From desert light in Namibia to coastal winds in Morocco, from mountain air in Peru to quiet street moments in Southeast Asia, each photograph is shaped by context and attentiveness. They are less about travel than about presence — about the way atmosphere, gesture, and environment intersect in a single frame.

Together, these images form a study in light and lived experience across borders. All works in this collection are available as archival, museum-quality fine art prints.
