After a long day of branding at Kahua Ranch in North Kohala, Hawaii, Godfrey Kainoa, along with other cowboys, friends and family members drinks beer and relax in the Kahua Ranch Barn. Because many of the cowboys and other workers at brandings volunteer their time, the ranch owner provides food and beer to thank them. Kainoa is a descendent of one of the original "Vaqueros" who first came to Hawaii to teach the Hawaiians cowboys skills almost two hundred years ago.
