Worshippers leave the Kahua Ranch chapel which was originally the Lorenzo Lyons' missionary chapel in Ho'epa and was moved to Kahua in 1953 to be used by cowboys and their families on the ranch in North Kohala, Hawaii. "Faith is a huge part of the paniolo identity," says Paniolo Preservation Society founder, Dr, Billy Bergin. Many of the cowboys attend a larger "cowboy church" in downtown Waimea.
