Spinning to Life

Young girls enjoy a spinning game in their hostel at the Rescue Foundation, a non-governmental organization founded to rescue young girls from brothels in and around Mumbai, India. The Rescue Foundation houses over 50 rescued girls at a time. Most are under the age of 18 . Many of the girls suffer from some form of post-traumatic stress syndrome. One girl doesn't speak while another tried to commit suicide by setting herself on fire while still at a brothel.
