Life Portraits

My "Life Portrait" sessions are not your typical portrait sessions. I've found that traditional portrait sessions often end up producing stiff or uninteresting images, not to mention melt-downs and general mayhem.
Over the years, I've discovered that the best way to capture children and families is with a completely different approach. Rather than centering the session around being photographed, a "life portrait" session is centered around life itself--a fun outing, trip to the beach on Cape Cod or just hanging out at home. This means lots of family interaction, naturally joyful moments and a realness that most portrait sessions lack. If tears happen, that's okay too because after all, life is made up of the full range of human emotions. There will be moments in which we do some more traditional family portraits but the emphasis will be on the natural moments that unfold.
A "life portrait" session can be a short one-hour session or extended to an afternoon, day or even a weekend if you're headed to a family reunion, vacation rental or elsewhere and want to capture your family's time together.
Hhigh resolution color and bw files of each final image available for digital download as well as unlimited online viewing. Quality prints and beautiful collage-style coffee table albums or art books are also available.
