Hawaiian cowboy, Wayne Tachera, stands at the top of Kahua Ranch, where he works and looks over the beautiful landscape after a hard day's work in North Kohala, Hawaii. Tachera lives with his two daughters, Kamehana, 10, and Nahe, 8, in "cowboy housing" which is subsidized by the ranch as part of a cowboy's benefit package. "We get free housing, free electricity, free water. It makes up for cowboy pay because cowboy pay is not much at all"," says Tachera. "Sometimes we go to the mountain up there and you can see the whole entire ridge and beaches and stuff like that," says Tachera's older daughter, Kamehana, 10.
